Upon evolution, Floatzel emerges as a larger and more formidable counterpart to its earlier form, Buizel. Possessing elongated arms, prominent fangs, and robust legs, these aquatic powerhouses effortlessly navigate through the water with grace. In adapting to frigid environments, Sinnoh Floatzels boast a formidable coat, thick and resilient, providing insulation against the chilling waters they call home. However, this very attribute has turned them into unfortunate targets for illegal poaching, as their lustrous pelts fetch exorbitant prices on the black market.

The evolution process sees the disappearance of the once-present flotation sack, a feature that mirrors the development of their earlier stage. Despite this transformation, Floatzels exhibit remarkable swimming skills, proving adept hunters in their icy habitats.

However, unlike their water-type counterparts and previous evolution, Sinnoh Floatzel depict less of their previously playful and inquisitive nature. While Floatzels still frequent ports, forging symbiotic relationships with fishermen, they display a heightened wariness toward unfamiliar faces. This change in behavior serves as a protective measure, a reflection of the challenges they face in the perilous waters and the threats posed by those seeking to exploit their valuable coats.
