[SE] Flower, gleam and glow

If flower picking was a tradition in the curious place that was Cerynia, then Katherine would gladly join. Tranquil Hollow actually sounded quite compelling, how could it not be when the location had the word 'tranquil' in it? She had shown up bright and early in a long white dress and cream-coloured coat, all in all, an ensemble that made her stand out from a mile away. To her, it just felt logical to dress properly for such an important event.

Armed with a basket in her hand and her beloved Duchess trotting by her side Katherine made her way through the brightly coloured fields. Her red eyes were instantly stuck to roses of the same colour that looked particularly alluring. Perhaps it was because her own personal coat of arms had that very rose on it, or because her ponyta so enjoyed sniffing the flower. "Duchess dear, are you smelling the flowers again?" She asked in a doting voice as she stepped closer to her pokemon. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, you know." She then added jokingly, knowing that no matter how much she said it, her little companion would never truly understand the words of Shakespeare.

Back in Andorin Katherine had her own designated garden within the palace gardens, a place where she was known to spend a lot of her time. It was the perfect hideaway for those times when she did not wish to face the world. Thusfar, she had not found a place like that in Sanctum, but she supposed that Tranquil Hollow might very well do the trick. Just as she was watching Duchess sniff the flowers, she thought she spotted something move among them

Even if her serenity was interrupted, Katherine did not really mind. What could possibly be in the air in this place? She did not have time to wonder, however, as something approached her rapidly. She watched the Alolan Raichu near her, its presumable owner not far behind, until it halted closeby. Duchess had since taken Katherine's side once more and she gave the Raichu a curious look. "Oh that is quite all right madam," she said as she flashed the woman a magnificent smile. "She is most charming." She spoke while looking at the Raichu. "This is Duchess." She introduced her ponyta with a waive of her hand, upon which the little creature took a few steps forward. "And my name is Katherine." With her hand held out she glanced back to what she had possibly seen among the flowers. But alas, introductions first, as it was the polite thing to do.
