Outshade Island Region

Outshade Island is a large sprawling Pokémon region inspired by the diverse landscapes and vibrant ecosystems of Australia. This region is renowned for its unique wildlife, challenging terrains, and a deep cultural heritage that blends ancient traditions with modern Pokémon training.



Key Locations


Skyrise City (Capital)

Located at the north-west coast of Outshade Island lies it's capital; Skyrise City. A bustling metropolis that showcases modern architecture and technology, as well as tradition and the rich culture of this Island. It holds the largest part of Outshade Island's population. This city is a central hub for trainers, offering high-tech Pokémon Gyms, Battle Arena's, numerous Poké-Cafes and much more.

Eucalara Forest

A dense, expansive forest filled with towering eucalyptus trees. The air is filled with the soothing scent of eucalyptus, and it's home to many Grass and Bug-type Pokémon. Trainers can learn traditional herbal remedies from the local communities.

Reefside Shores

A stunning coastal area with vibrant coral reefs accessible for underwater Pokémon battles. It's a hub for Water and Rock-type Pokémon. The area also serves as a research ground for studying Pokémon interactions in aquatic ecosystems.

Outback Gulch

A vast, arid region reminiscent of the Australian Outback, populated by Ground, Fire, and Rock-type Pokémon. The area challenges trainers with harsh conditions, but also offers ancient ruins to explore, holding secrets of historic Pokémon battles and long-lost civilizations.

Thundara Plains

Wide open plains where frequent thunderstorms energize Electric-type Pokémon. The area is also known for its wind farms, where trainers can learn about energy sustainability alongside Electric-type Pokémon training.

Dreamtime Caves

Mysterious caves adorned with ancient paintings that tell stories of the legendary Pokémon of Outshade. These caves are a spiritual site for the local people and are protected by Psychic and Ghost-type Pokémon.



Cultural Elements


Outshade Island has a rich heritage influenced by its indigenous people, who are known for their deep connection with nature and Pokémon. Annual festivals celebrate this bond through dance, music, and Pokémon battles that mimic historical encounters and mythical tales.

The league itself is set in a grand coliseum built at the convergence of all key biomes, symbolizing unity and the diverse spirit of Outshade.
