A new city to explore. Something she had done countless of times in her travels. It had something uniquely refreshing. This was a little different from traveling though. She wasn't leaving this place anytime soon so she could take her time for once. Make mental notes of shops and stores she passed in her day to day, for later. For when she had some time. Like today.

She wasn't entirely sure what this shop offered exactly, aside from spirituality, but it had piqued her interest. Eternal Essence. Must be something good, non? It seemed to be open, but when she stepped towards the door she couldn't help but admire the entrance. It didn't take long before her sketchbook appeared. Sketching out the entrance. At her feet, waiting a little impatiently, a Glameow rubbed against her legs. Unable to break the concentration of her trainer. The only thing that stopped her from sketching was the door, that suddenly opened, making her look up in surprise.

Shaelyn felt utterly lost.

It had been hours since he had driven away, the sound of his car's engine fading into the distance, leaving her alone. The remnants of his presence lingered in the shop, and no matter how she tried, she couldn’t erase the signs of her tears as she stepped outside. A shaky breath escaped her, her efforts to steady her breathing only marginally successful.

Resolved to walk home to avoid her driver sensing anything amiss, she was about to make her way when she spotted someone standing directly in front of the shop. Her brows furrowed in confusion and concern as she took in another shuddering breath.

“Can I help you?” she asked, her voice escaping her before she even fully registered it.
