She had just finished work, but instead of heading upstairs to her apartment, she decided to head out for a bit. Maybe she could get some takeaway or she could make her own dinner, though that still hadn’t been very successful. She clearly didn’t have a knack for cooking, but it was fine, she was willing to eat anything really.

The Absol she had only recently encountered kept following her around wherever she went. She had read that the pokemon could be very loyal, though it had taken her some time to actually look up the pokemon itself. The colouring making it quite hard. But now she knew what kind of pokemon it was and she wondered whether it was sticking around because she had freed it from that cage. Still it wasn’t anything she could be sure about.

She was currently on her way to the place where she could get some pizza, after the first time with Djodie there, she had returned more often. It wasn’t the healthiest option, but it was better than some of her own attempts at the very least. Vincze of Искра

But the burning comes first


Around this time of the year Kryos preferred to head out during the evening when temperatures were cooling down. It was simply too hot, even worse here than at home in the mountains. If he could he would return instantly, but that was no longer an option.

Not that this city was any better. It was awful.

His long white hair fell over his ears and shoulders, enough that people won’t notice anything. Kryos walked over the almost empty streets, taking in everything he saw. These days he had no place to stay, no food to fill his stomach with and no destination in mind. To say he was lost was to put it mildly.

Kryos was about to take a turn when someone caught his attention. Icy blue eyes landed on a smaller figure who walked past him. Without any shame he stared at her, following her every step. He had almost missed it and amidst a crowd he certainly wouldn’t have seen it.

Curiosity caused him to change his direction and he followed her. Not saying anything, only looking at her, wanting to know where exactly she was going.

At first she didn’t notice that she was being followed, the Absol seemed to keep an eye on whoever it was, but didn’t feel the need to warn her yet. So she walked towards the place where she was intending to get some pizza, without noticing that someone was following her.

It was when she was about to head into the place that the Absol decided to make her aware of the person that had been following her. He bumped his head against her and pointed in the direction of the man. She turned to look, a frown upon her face.

”Do you need something from me?” She had been told to be careful around people, that she shouldn’t be walking around like this and yet here she still was, walking around like she didn’t care about it. It was also to attract people partially, to try and find out more about what might have happened to her. And yes it might be dangerous, but it was the only thing she could really do at the moment. As the girl came to a halt, so did he. By turning his way, he could see her ears more clearly. They were different form those he’d seen on others, but the same as the ones hidden beneath his thick hair.

Slowly he tilted his head a bit to the side, his icy eyes narrowing slightly. “No, I do not.” He doubted she had anything to offer him, seeing as she had nothing on her person he needed. It was then that he looked at the pokémon at her side. Kryos had seen many people walking around with them. Nearly every human had one, which meant he needed one too.

“Unless you have something to offer.” He turned his gaze back to her, patiently waiting. He was not accustomed to people and their habits.
