With his new price in hand he shook the hand of the man he’d just made a deal with, before turning around and heading for the bar. There was a broad grin on his lips and for the first time in a long while, he felt like he could take on the world. His red eyes gleamed with joy as he looked down on the red pokeball in his hands. It was perfect.

As he approached the bar he made to sit down, until a familiar face caught his eye. Immediately Ghiyath changed course and went to sit next to Soren. While they were no friends, he knew the guy.

He put a hand in the air to get the attention of the bartender. “A beer for me, and give him something too,” he said loudly, all while the grin never left his lips. He only had a little change left after his deal, but it was enough for a few drinks and tomorrow he would join the battle arena and make up for whatever he’s lost.

Ghiyath leaned in to Soren, keeping his voice quiet this time as he looked at him with mischievous eyes “You can never guess what I just bought.” He held the pokéball out of view for now.

It had for once been a good day. He had won some battles and for once hadn’t managed to gamble his earnings away at the same time, so he was in a good mood and thought he deserved to treat himself. So he had gone to one of his favourite bars and gotten himself a few drinks already when someone familiar came to sit beside him.

He smiled when he noticed Ghiyath sitting down beside him and ordering a beer and a drink for him. The bartender filled his glass again while he looked over at Ghiyath wondering why the man seemed to be in a good mood.

”I would guess something good, seeing your mood.” Though he had no idea what exactly it would be. He looked the man over, but couldn’t see anything at the moment. ”But what is it? You’re making me curious.” It was something that the other had bought, so it could be anything. Ghiyath Zarouni

Ghiyath was waiting for a guess, a grin playing on his lips. Oh how he wanted to know what the other thought he’d bought. Yet no guesses came. With a pout he said back straighter in his seat. Meanwhile their drinks got served.

“It is good, that is correct,” Ghiyath said happily as he took his drink and gulped down almost half of it. Normally he would savor the taste, not now. Give it a month and he would have enough money to buy every drink he desired.

He could simply tell him what it was, but instead he shook his head. “Not how the game works, bud.” Yet his own enthusiasm might ruin the game too.
