First of all, she is studying at the University as a PhD student. So it makes sense she knows people at the University! I would love to have some people for her who she can work with. She loves to infodump and is very enthused about research, so that ought to be fun.

If you have a researcher with less savoury research, that could also work because she isn't really good at judging people. So, with some sweet words, you can go a long way with her.

As she is genuinely sweet to most people, I would love to have someone with whom she doesn't mesh well. This can either be a romantic or platonic ex-friend. Just the kind of person with whom she'd be like: 'I still feel chemistry but I'd love to claw your eyes out.'

Eleanor has grown up in Cerynia, after which she did a part of her studies in the Orange Islands. Now that she has returned, I'd love for her to catch up with some old friends from her youth. Eleanor's parents were rather emotionally neglectful, so she has been quite emotionally dependent on her friends and thus, she would have been quite close with them.
