Turn of the screws

Míngzé sighed deeply when the other decided to listen for once. For a moment he feared another wave of words would be thrown in his direction, but they never came. When Vince first approached him that day, he’d hoped that maybe, just maybe he would be able to help. Yet he had done anything but that. He was well aware that he was not doing all too good, he did not need some kid to tell him that.

More words followed, but at that point he lacked the energy to even respond. It did not matter anyway. Míngzé stayed where he was, sitting in the same position, for a while even after the other left. Before he could go home, he had to calm down some more. At some point Qiān had taken a seat next to him, simply waiting. It was somewhat a comforting feeling, knowing that he was not alone right now.

He did not know how much time had passed until he finally decided to go home. Qiān helped him back to the path, but that is where Míngzé drew the line and once more called the pokémon back into his pokéball before continuing his way home.
